“As Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Finance, Insurance, and Consumer Protection; MEDC/LEO Appropriations Subcommittee; and LARA/DIFS Appropriations Subcommittee, I am energized by the Governor’s proposals in her State of the State address. From lowering costs for seniors and working families, investments in talent and economic development, to continued record education funding and student support, Gov. Whitmer laid out a vision for Michigan where our state prospers so every Michigander has the resources and opportunity to succeed. I am greatly looking forward to working with the governor and my colleagues in the Legislature to achieve this bold vision for the people of Michigan.”
