Dear Neighbor,
I wanted to remind you of a virtual town hall meeting that I’m hosting TONIGHT — Monday, Sept. 13 from 8 to 9 p.m. — to discuss the need to ban PFAS from food packaging and cosmetics.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet with me (safely from your own home!) — along with Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12), Rep. Yousef Rabhi (D-Ann Arbor), Rep. Felicia Brabec (D-Pittsfield Township), Rep. Ronnie Peterson (D-Ypsilanti), Rep. Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) and Rebecca Meuninck, Ph.D., who serves as the deputy director of the Ecology Center, to talk about how we can protect our health and the environment, and what we’re doing at the federal and state level to eliminate these toxic ‘forever chemicals’ from our lives.
All are invited to attend.
Here are the details:
WHAT: Virtual Town Hall on PFAS
WHEN: Monday, Sept. 13 from 8 to 9 p.m.
WHERE: I’ll be doing a live video that will be available on my Facebook page.
NOTE: You do NOT need to have a Facebook account to join the conversation! Just visit my Facebook page at 8:00 p.m. this evening and you’ll be able to watch the video and submit any questions in the comments.
