Summer Legislative Art Contest

School is out for the summer, but that doesn’t mean students have to stop being creative! That’s why Senator Veronica Klinefelt is hosting a Summer Legislative Art Contest, so students can exercise their creativity while engaging with their state government.

The contest is open to all K-12 students who live or attend school in Michigan’s 11th Senate District. To determine if you qualify, enter your address here. All entries must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024.

After the deadline, five winners will be selected to have their art displayed in the Senator’s Lansing Office. Winners will also be invited to bring their art to Lansing for display, recognition by Senator Klinefelt, a meet-n-greet with staff, and a tour of the Capitol.
