DETROIT, MI - “Michigan lawmakers will consider a bill called “Queenie’s Law” Wednesday, May 20, to ban painful dog experiments at public institutions [like Wayne State University] as Detroit Lions players renew support for the proposal.
The bill is named after Queenie, a dog used in research tied to Wayne State, according to supporters.
