**The Grinch Who Stole Christmas... from Michigan in Lame Duck 2024** Every Who down in Michigan loved Christmas a lot… But the Democrats in Lansing? They did *not*. The Democrats hated Christmas, the whole festive season. Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason. It could be the taxes, it could be the laws, But whatever the cause, they were causing some pause. For weeks they'd been plotting, in secret, no doubt, Lining up bills that would leave people to shout. A new gas tax, a ban on some cars, A ban on coal? Maybe they'll go that far. "I must stop these Whos from enjoying their cheer!" The Dems in Lame Duck said, sneering, "It's clear— We’ve got all the power, and the time’s running thin. We’ll pass all the laws before they can spin!" On Thursday at midnight, they rolled out the bills, Filling the chambers with all kinds of thrills. They'd strip tax breaks for the middle-class folk, And put in more mandates—yes, that was the joke. “They'll never see this coming!” they laughed and they sneered, As the lobbyists gathered, their plans all prepared. The media cameras? They're pointed just right, But no one’s quite sure who’s taking the bite. One bill, then another, then another again, Each more confusing than the last one had been. They’d add union rules, but forget to explain, And lobbyists wondered how much they'd gain. “Oh, we’re nearly done now!" they shouted with glee, The Democrats snickered, their plan now to see. "Next time we’ll raise taxes to pay for the schemes, The public will get what they voted for, it seems!” But the Whos in Michigan? They saw through the mess. They didn’t feel happy. They didn’t feel blessed. "How can they do this?” they all asked aloud, "How can they steal Christmas, and make us feel cowed?" But it wasn’t just Christmas the Dems tried to steal, It was votes, taxes, rights—was the whole thing real? By the time they were done, they'd passed so much fast, A new era in Lansing was sealed at last. So the Whos in Michigan, on Christmas Eve night, Grew louder and louder, ready to fight. “Bring on the protests! Bring on the calls! We won't stand for this mess! Not one bit at all!" And as the Grinch... uh, Michigan Dems scurried away, They couldn’t ignore what the Whos had to say. For when it’s all over and the bills are unfurled, The People’s voice matters in this great state, still.

They are wonderful people! The legislation they had to read was sadly mostly full of reckless woke job killing legislation. Absolutely was shameful what the Senate Democrats did today. Talk about waiting until the 11th hour; hopefully, Whitmer refuses to sign everything as it’s been rushed

Are those the people that tell you how to Vote? How many of these bills were read by you and other Senators? How do you represent your constituents if you are blindly following orders from Whitmer?
