State Senator Jeff Irwin, how do you like the bill 12 (yes, TWELVE) Republicans sponsored to make the AR-15 the "Official Rifle" of Michigan. That reminds me of the bill the Democrats recently came up with to make the Stonefly the "Official Insect" of Michigan. Jeff, perhaps after the Democrats and Republicans have selected "Official Worms" and "Official Bazookas" and "Official Viruses" and "Official Grenades" of Michigan, you would feel the bill to repair the Open Meetings Act ranks high enough on your ladder of "What is Important to Democrats" to actually sponsor the bill. ... Oh wait, I forgot. ... The Democrat "Leaders" and "Committee Chairs" don't like it that I - an "individual" - provided them with the nicknames they "earned" such as "Sloppy Joe" Tate, Winnie "The Loser" Brinks, Stephanie "No Change" Chang, and Kevin "Hurt You" Hertel." The Democrats don't seem to understand their "Actions" should be based on doing what is best for "Everyone." The Democrats should not be based on "Words" from one person. In reality, I gave those hypocrite Democrats SEVEN MONTHS to reply before I took a page out of Donald J. Trump's playbook and assigned them nicknames. There was NO DOUBT those corrupt people were never going to sponsor the bill to repair the Open Meetings Act in the first place. Also, it makes Republicans such as Senator Jim Runestad and State Senator Dan Lauwers look TERRIBLE when the Republican party places a higher level of importance on having an "Official Rifle" than having a repaired Open Meetings Act. The same can be said about the Democrats and the importance they place on having an "Official Insect." Michigan has the #50 Worst-Ranked Open Meetings Act in the Nation, but the Legislature is controlled by "Lobbyists" and "PACs." Just look how "State Rep" Jeff Irwin actually fought for what was right back in 2015. You don't see Senator Jeff Irwin doing that now. Jeff Irwin sees "Leadership" and higher positions in his future as a "Democrat." As a result, Jeff won't fight publicly against the "Lobbyists" and "PACs" or corrupt "Leaders" and "Committee Chairs" that don't want elected officials held accountable to the people. Jeff reminds me of the bum in the movie, "They Live." As a bum, they may have lived out on the streets, but at least he had class. As a wealthy person who sold out to the extraterrestrial aliens, the bum had lost all his class.

Where is the walk to improve the Freedom of Information Act and Open Meetings Act. ... Oh wait, the Democrats no longer can use the excuse of, "The Republicans haven't fixed this problem of the Governor and Legislature being 'immune' to the FOIA in FOUR DECADES." Now we see the Democrats "Sloppy Joe' Tate, Stephanie "No Change" Chang, Winnie "The Loser" Brinks, Kevin "Hurt You" Hertel, and others simply do NOT care about fixing the Sunshine Laws. Governor Gretchen Whitmer needs to understand something important if she plans to run for President. NO CANDIDATE WILL EVER be elected to President if they represent a State that ranks #50 for having the Worst Freedom of Information Act and Worst Open Meetings Act in the Nation! Whitmer promised to sign any bill that reached her desk to fix the FOIA. But, that didn't happen. Whitmer vetoed the bill. And the Democrat Majority Legislature didn't do anything about it, even though ALL the Republicans supported the bill!
